This is a Full-time position in Etobicoke, ON posted April 28, 2021.

Our client requires an Intermediate Field Environment Coordinator to support, mentor, and ensure environmental requirements compliance within British Columbia facility operations.

This role is a 14/14 rotation out of the Fort St.

John/Montney region.

Must Have Requirements: Minimum 5 years direct field environmental operations experience.

Knowledgeable and experienced with the fundamentals of environmental management and environmental incident response.

Including support for many of the following: environmental issues and programs, including flare, fugitive/venting and GHG verification and reporting, waste management, erosion control, vegetation management, water withdrawal/discharge, spill cleanup, wildlife reporting etc.

Understanding of oil and gas production operations.

Familiarity with British Columbia environmental requirements Experience in environmental operations support.

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with others including Indigenous community members.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Ability and flexibility to work on rotation.

(FIFO 14/14, Flights Reimbursable, Accomodations/Food within Camp environment) Nice to Have: Formal training and experience in: Proactive environmental performance initiatives.

Spill and environmental incident response.

Incident investigation.

General Responisibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist Operations in developing and coordinating environmental response to environmental incidents such as spills and releases; Report regulatory reportable non-compliance and follow up with corrective actions; Support incident investigation, corrective action and verification of environmental and regulatory contraventions; Work with the Health and Safety, Sustainable Development and Regulatory teams to ensure consistent program execution, regulatory interaction and planning;
