Client Service Representative

Client Service Representative HR Pension & Benefits Contact Centre Toronto, ON (Don Mills/Eglinton) Contract Summary Reporting into a Team Lead, the Bilingual Client Care Representative will work within the inbound HR contact centre and is responsible for responding to client inquires over telephone and e-chat.

Through advanced training in employee compensation and HR practices, the successful candidate will become a specialist in assisting callers with group benefit and retirement plan inquires.

•Respond to inbound inquiries from plan members and third party representatives across Canada
•Provide first level support, including password resets
•Complete call summaries within the case management system, identifying areas for follow-up as required
•Liaise with client representatives, internal consultants and administrators, insurance and financial company representatives regarding escalated member inquiries
•Monitor and resolve client escalations in a timely manner
•Adhere to client service level agreement
•Other tasks or special projects as required Succeeding as a Client Care Representative will require the following core qualifications and skills
•Excellent verbal and written skills
•Exceptional customer focus and strong professional acumen
•Post-secondary education or appropriate training and experience
•Experience in a specialized call centre environment is an asset
•Demonstrated ability to be an active listener
•Knowledge of group benefits (DB and DC pension or group insurance) is an asset
•Ability to work independently and within a team environment
•Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
•Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
•A good understanding of programs, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•Proven ability to learn new software quickly
