Customer Service Representative – Medical Cannabis Testing – Eurofins Experchem Laboratories

Job Description Basic Function: Reporting to the Department Head – Cannabis Testing, you will be responsible for fulfilling all customer service responsibilities to support the Medical Cannabis Testing laboratories.

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to the company’s current and future clients.

Reflecting a positive and professional image of the company is a crucial requirement of this position.

The CSR will be experienced in handling a wide range of customer service and support-related tasks and will be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.

Main Responsibilities:
· Liaise with company customers through phone, e-mail and in person;
· Maintain superior customer relations;
· Manage customer scheduling of projects;
· Coordinate project tracking;
· Variety of administrative duties including filing, faxing, photocopying, on-line administration;
· Creating memos;
· Verifying information on on-going projects;
· Handling other duties promoting the achievement of customer service and business goals including internal sales;
· Ensure regulatory compliance;
· Sample booking audit;
· Assist Sales with quote creations;
· Overall customer communications for the lab Qualifications Desired Qualifications:
· High school diploma required; college or university accreditation or science background is an asset;
· Minimum of 5 years’ customer service experience;
· Exceptional computer skills with a high level of competence with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Personal Characteristics:
· Must speak and write English fluently;
· Extremely high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail;
· Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
· Must be articulate;
· Professional, friendly, and courteous in all interactions, whether with customers or co-workers;
· High energy with strong initiative and a can-do attitude;
· Excellent organizational skills;
· Strong customer service skills;
· Ability to work independently, while supporting a collaborative, team-based department;
· Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure;
· High level of professionalism, maturity, good judgment, and discretion when dealing in confidential matters;
· Must be proactive, self-disciplined, and able to demonstrate a high level of productivity;
· Demonstrate satisfactory work performance and attendance record;
· Willingness to learn with the ability to retain information quickly and apply knowledge to various scenarios.

Additional Information WORKING CONDITIONS: This position will be working in a lab-based office environment where most of the time will be sitting at a desk working on a computer.

Moderate level of activity and some light lifting requirements to fulfill any required administrative duties such as filing and photocopying.

Hazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate PPE.

Shift work and overtime may be required, as well as working periodic weekends and/or evenings.
