Role Overview: TELUS CRSM team is seeking a Customer Systems Architect (CSA) to join a dynamic presales engineering team, supporting both Mid-Market and Enterprise Customers.

The successful candidate will have a passion for cyber security with demonstrated experience in technical solution consulting.

The CSA will interface with customers and the sales organization to perform business needs assessment, product demonstrations, whiteboard discussion, opportunity qualification, and solution design and proposal development.

Business Unit Spotlight: Business Solutions and Customer Relations & Solutions Management (CRSM) Team Business Solutions and Customer Relations & Solutions Management (CRSM) provides end-to-end sales, marketing and post-sales business customer support across Canada.

Our Sales team is dedicated to supporting business customers all across Canada.

We help connect our customers with industry-leading technology solutions to create opportunities and solve business challenges across both public and private sectors and across various vertical markets.

Our Marketing team leads product marketing for most of our wireline business solutions, strategic alliances and support for sales tools and analytics.

The team also oversees regional customer marketing.

The CRSM team provides customer solutions architecture, deal pursuit, solutions delivery, customer care, and operations support for TELUS business customers across all segments.

Our future friendly story: https://youtu.be/mbqmykVZqJc What YOU Bring: Strong cross-domain cyber security knowledge including Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC), security policy and security infrastructure solutions, with specialization in at least two security domains.

Strong knowledge of technical security controls and trends in the industry including varied delivery models (on premise, hosted, cloud).

Solid understanding of, and experience with, enterprise scale integrated IT security solutions such as those involving: multi-site implementation, LAN/WAN/Security interoperability, dynamic routing protocols, and failover and high availability systems.

Network security infrastructure (e.g.

Firewall, VPN, Network IPS, Web proxy, Email, DLP, AAA, wireless) design and architecture Data and Endpoint security (e.g.

AV, HIPS, Firewall, Encryption & DLP) concepts, design and architecture Security analytics and reporting solutions including log management, SIEM and threat intelligence.

Ability to uncover and understand business requirements through a consultative process.

Ability to navigate ambiguity, clearly communicate risks, anticipate challenges, seek clarification and set clear expectations with customers and internal stakeholders.

Excellent technical writing, design consultation and presentation skills.

Ability to articulate both business and technical value of information security solutions.

The ability to work with limited supervision in a competitive environment.

Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in Engineering or Computer Science.

Possess two or more security vendor certifications, such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Meraki, HP, Intel Security, Juniper, Check Point.
