This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted March 17, 2021.

SALARY RANGE: $42,000 $52,000 annuallyLOCATON: Milton, ONHOURS: Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm (40 hours).

Afterhours support rotation required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Network setup and reconfiguration (routers, modems, switches, LAN, IP Networking, VoIP phone systems etc.)Install, maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networking (VPN), computer workstations and peripheral equipmentConfiguration & installation of equipment (including cabling routing and re-routing)Resolve open IT trouble tickets in a timely manner; primary contact for hands-on tech support in Office and Warehouse environmentDeliver security functions, i.E.

data & systems back-up (internal and external web network servers) and disaster recovery, data and hardware securitySupport IT projects and enhancements, systems issues, and software troubleshooting for multiple locationsIdentify opportunities for improvement, integration, and efficiency, participating in research and project deliveryAll members of the IT team are expected to share the responsibility of afterhours supportAdditional work outside regular business hours and afterhours support may be required based on business needsInfrequent travel to other facilities in Acton and London (Ontario) requiredREQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT Administration & Support capacityMicrosoft Windows Servers (setup, maintenance, backup/restore, and administration)Active Directory, Exchange Server, IIS Server, FTP Servers, SSL certificates, encryption technologies, & anti-virus solutionsNetwork Administration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, wireless access points, switches, vLANs, firewall & routing configuration, VPN Tunnels, remote access technologies)Microsoft Windows, Microsoft OfficeConfiguration Management and experience implementing Industry Best Practices” NICE TO HAVE” EXPERIENCE:VMware ESX / vSphere / vCenter (setup, maintenance, backup/restore, and administration)Server-class hardware, including storage technologies Administering cloud-based services (SaaS, IaaS)Mobile computers (operating systems, and associated hardware)VoIP phone system administrationThird Party Logistics software experience (ERP, WMS, EDI)Previous experience with Warehouse equipment (RF Scanners, Label Printers)REQUIRED EDUCATION:Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, M.I.S.
