If so, bring your skills to this key role leadership role to plan, implement and evaluate project management initiatives for the Burnaby Redevelopment Project.

Specifically, provide project management leadership to clinical and infrastructure teams through all capital project phases: workflow, technical, clinical design, build, training and go-live.

The Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project (BHRP) is a multi-year, multi-phase project with an initial focus on a new inpatient/outpatient tower, support facilities building expansion, and renovation.

The second phase will include a new cancer treatment centre and 110 new inpatient beds.

This project is complex and will be comprised of new construction, demolition, renovations and various upgrades.

Upon completion, the Burnaby campus will have two new patient care towers, an expanded emergency department, a new cancer treatment centre, and ultimately increase its acute care beds from 259 to 400.

Position Highlights We are seeking a Senior Leader, Project Support & Results Office (PSRO) to hold leadership and management accountability for the successful delivery and achievement of projects through the phases of the Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment Project.

PSRO is a project management office within Burnaby Hospital Redevelopment that defines, maintains standards and processes for project management.

This Regular Full Time opportunity is located at Burnaby Hospital in Burnaby, BC and will allow you to make a difference in the communities we live and serve.

Build on your education and experience as you: Lead the Project Support & Results Office and support the portfolio of projects ensuring the successful transition from project delivery to operational implementation Responsible for developing project management documentation such as Project Charters, Project Implementation Plans, and Change Management Plans.

Establish PSRO operating processes, tools and standards to lead the project through Planning, Implementation, Monitoring, and Controlling phases focused on, but not limited to the WBS breakdown, work plans and project schedules, documentation control, records management, quality, risk management, issue logs, project reporting, training and change management Plan and develop business and project management processes, techniques, workflow models, standards and tools in support of project service delivery teams Ensure project management processes optimizes efficiency and meets established standards for all project management components Provide strong and effective leadership, technical guidance, coaching, training, mentorship and human resource management to assigned project staff and contractors Lead development, maintenance and distribution of reports in relation to project management controls Plan, implement, and improve project management best practices and tool sets to streamline project processes / procedures and maximize operational effectiveness.

Build strong relationships with the team, vendors, stakeholders, & ensure the delivery of effective, client-focused services.

Are you motivated to join our team?

We will be looking for you to have the following: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business or related discipline.

Masters in Business Administration (MBA) will be preferred.

Certification in Project Management (PMP) is mandatory.

Certification in Change Management (CCMP) or similar will be an asset.
