Information Technology Site Support Manager

This is a Full-time position in Goderich, ON posted May 11, 2022.

The IT Site Support Manager has two distinct sets of responsibilities, which include corporate level oversight of end user device and the support/management of all site level applications and devices.

As the corporate lead for support, key responsibilities include supervision of the corporate help desk and management of the End User device internal team.

As the Site lead, responsibilities include planning, installing, configuring and maintaining of hardware and software systems.

Additionally, supervision of all site level IT Administrative positions.

This individual will be a vital member of the IT Leadership team and be required to develop effective relationships with other technical and non-technical leaders.

IT Site Support Manager role requires a service-oriented mentality, strong sense of ownership of problems and requests assigned with a focus on managing and resolving issues in a timely manner.

This position will be responsible for complex or multi-site projects.

Responsibilities: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to end user device and site administration team members to ensure job duties are handled effectively and efficiently.

Conduct regular performance evaluations of staff.

Serve as an escalation point for advanced technical issues and problem management.

Manage the relationship with outsourced Tier 1 Helpdesk provider.

This includes a constant assessment of improvement opportunities.

Provide Tier 3 level end-user technical support on client hardware systems, mobile devices, computer peripherals, telecommunications equipment, and client/ server/ cloud application software.

Including 3rd party depot/warehouse support.

Configures, installs, and maintains client and server hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives onsite or remotely.

Includes hardware support for Kronos time clocks, temperature scanner kiosks, RFID devices, security camera, and wireless access points.

Audio/visual, conference room technology, and corporate event technology support.

Communicates effectively and coordinates with contracted 3rd parties to accomplish IT related tasks at local and remote operations sites.

Ability to manage a complex, large portfolio of enterprise applications that includes tools that support critical business operations, corporate financial management, collaboration/workflow tool and integration applications.

This includes an integrated ERP system (JD Edwards), Microsoft Office 365, Mulesoft and many others.

Ability to manage application licenses expenses and compliance within the department and is responsible for developing, monitoring, and meeting budget goals and objectives.

System administration for on premise and off-premise business operational applications (Brady ID, OSI PI, Ignition, Allen Bradley, and others as defined).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years related work experience required.

Requires ITIL Foundations certification.

6 years technology experience with Enterprise Application software, ERP system management considered a plus.

6 years’ experience with Active Directory related operations, including design, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

3-5 years’ experience in cloud system management, O365.

3 or more years experience in technology based project management Preferred Qualifications & Certifications: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) CompTIA A+ and/or Network +.

Experience in mining, manufacturing or physical plant technologies and support *Relocation Assistance Possible*
