The IS&T Application Support Coordinator role consists partly of managing the daily operations of BRP’s Application Support in order to ensure global operations are running smoothly.

You will also work collaboratively with the PMO to ensure seamless project deployments and handovers.

Other expectations for this role include analysis and preparation of proposals to improve support and transfer processes, participation in deploying recommended solutions, change management for global stakeholders, customer experience management, and critical thinking.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinating daily operations to ensure operations run smoothly and are reactivated in a timely way, as needed Assessing, proposing and launching application support process improvement initiatives Assessing and proposing deployment management process improvements Building business relationships with CGI and third-party partners to maintain operational stability Collaborating with CGI and third-party partners to manage any incidents under your sector’s responsibility, in order to ensure effective communication and enable rapid resolution Participating in the implementation of a new “ITSM” tool to improve support processes and resolution time Providing limited assistance outside working hours (on-call in case of emergency) Developing and supporting change management regarding IT support processes for BRP users Building and growing the internal business relations network on behalf of BRP Participating in long-term support contract negotiations with third-party partners Managing project handovers to Operations for your sectors Supporting project managers, business analysts, and the business with application support and project handovers to operational teams Coordinating effective communications relating to projects, incidents, emergencies, etc.

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in computer science, information systems or related studies, or equivalent project experience Minimum of five years’ experience in information systems Good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP; Salesforce.com experience is an asset Bilingual (French/English); fluency in Spanish is an asset Project/business relationship management experience is an asset Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an asset Solid analytical skills Excellent communication skills Skilled at making sound judgements, working independently and taking the initiative Strong innovation skills Good leadership and collaboration skills to work with interdisciplinary teams
