IT Support Technician

Responsibilities include Exercise professional services on troubleshooting, maintenance and installation of computer hardware, software, and peripherals problems.

Coordinate timely repairs / rectifications / replacement to resume various IT services for the affected user.

Provide technical assistance and support to any employee onsite using a PC and cloud services for work.

Always available to give advice to users on how to resolve their problems.

Exercise effective systems and service management on internal servers, subscribed office 365 services, Barracuda email firewall, Zoom and cloud storage service.

Receive and respond to incoming problem reporting calls / work orders regarding PCs; printers; emails; spam mails; data security; cloud services; Zoom and Yardi system.

Provide guidance to internal users on operation of Yardi system and approval workflow module.

Carry out help desk administrative functions including incident and resolution log, escalation to higher level support for unresolved incidents and daily server health check.

Maintain up to date asset tracking information for an accurate asset inventory.

Ensure system security is maintained in compliance with corporate requirements and standards.

Configure / reinstall windows systems on PC equipment according to established standards.

Remove viruses or spyware, be able to replace hardware or reinstall the entire operating system Requirements Associate Degree and/or equivalent of 2 years of Technology training/experience A minimum of 12 months of non-vendor help desk experience is required.

Must be knowledgeable in the following computer technologies Microsoft OS Windows 10 and Azure Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft server 2012 R2 and Active Directory Microsoft Office 365 services; administration and change procedures Email security against spam mail, antivirus and data security User operation of the Yardi systems and associated approval workflow module is a preference Avaya IP 400 PABX system and voicemail pro system.

CompTIA A and Microsoft Certifications preferred Additional Skills Help users to resolve PC related problems with courtesy and in a timely fashion.

Answer user queries and resolve technical issues.

Escalate to senior support for unresolved problems.
