This is a full-time, permanent position within the customer service team in Quebec.Job SummaryReporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring orders are processed quickly and efficiently and customer queries are attended to in a timely manner.Core Job ResponsibilitiesManage large volume of incoming calls, identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfactionOrder entry, process orders via different platforms (fax, phone, EDI), including simple ordersWork alongside purchasing, Canada Logistics and Operations to ensure product flow through and to fulfill and satisfy customer order completion by coordinating rush shipment when necessaryProcess returned goods authorization following the Medline return policyRespond to clients, concerns and problems by providing information, resolving issues, and ensuring service needs are metSupply accurate and timely data including POD, PTA and freight documentsCommunicate with freight dispatcher to provide PODResolve orders pertaining to order flow; kick outs, pricing, freight blocks and releasing the orders in a timely and efficient mannerIssue debits and or credits for overages, shortages, and damagesComplete work within expected periods of timeCommunicate well with colleaguesHave minimum absenteeism and be punctualMaintain good workplace housekeepingQualifications3 + years of experience in the Customer Service fieldBilingual: English and FrenchExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Exceptional listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyWork well under pressure in a fast paced work environment and is comfortable with tight deadlinesProduct knowledge / experience in the healthcare industry is an assetQuick resolution and problem solving skillsStrong desire to work in a team environment corporately promoting “World Class Customer Service”.Data entry skills and ability to prioritize tasks Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications EDI and SAP knowledge considered to be an asset Medline Canada is Proud to Promote Equal Opportunity Employment Practices and Policy
