SCADA Level 3 Support Consultant On behalf of our client in the Public Sector, PROCOM is looking for a SCADA Level 3 Support Consultant SCADA Level 3 Support Consultant – Job Description Reporting to the Lead, IT Application Support, the Technical Consultant provides technical and analytical support, maintains, troubleshoots, and administers Schneider SCADA system, Oracle NMS system and other control centre systems, such as ICCP interface and PI.

The Technical Consultant also implements systems or projects that contribute to the efficient technical delivery of maintenance and improvement programs in the operational areas of IT Application Support.

Develop and implement plans to support IT services.

Proactively identify problems and opportunities for improvement of IT service or processes, including service level improvement, cost efficiency and customer demand management.

Work in partnership with IT Client Consultant in determining technical options / solutions to meet business needs Provide technical and analytical support, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer Schneider SCADA system, Oracle NMS system, and other control centre systems, such as ICCP interface and PI Work with other groups, and engineers to analyze problems related software and IT hardware components related to the SCADA system, NMS system, ICCP, and PI Provide solutions to support IT&S project delivery Identify opportunities to optimize the efficiency of IT Applications Research and identify industry trends (relative to scope of responsibility), leveraging ideas to improve or better align IT systems and services Perform after hours duty as required to resolve issues related to applications used by the control centre.

SCADA Level 3 Support Consultant – Mandatory Skills 7-10 years in Information Technology (Demonstrated experience in supporting and development of software systems) Post secondary degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline Meet Incident, Problem, Change Management targets Meet project and service request targets Previous experience with Schneider SCADA system or Oracle NMS or any other control centre systems SCADA Level 3 Support Consultant
– Assignment Start Date ASAP – 12 months to start SCADA Level 3 Support Consultant
