Software development engineer front end call center

This is a Full-time position in Quebec, QC posted May 16, 2019.

Overview LogMeIn C3R team is looking for a senior front-end software developer.

Your primary focus will be the development of client-side logic, including the definition of the user experience, tests, and architecture.

You will also be responsible for contributing to the design and integration with the back-end elements built by your coworkers into the application.

A basic understanding of API design and back-end technologies is therefore a plus.  LogMeIn builds front-end solutions using technologies such as Angular, React, webpack, Redux, Observables, WebSockets, WebRTC, and REST.

The C3R team at LogMeIn is responsible for the front-end and backend services related to contact center, reporting, big data, analytics and platform events.

  This is a team of doers.

We don’t hide behind reviews, change control, or validation outside of the team.

We are responsible for the automated testing, application design, choice of tools, deployment, operation, and lifecycle of our applications.

With this autonomy comes great responsibility.

To make this work, we expect everyone on the team to understand the impact their changes might have on other teams and the Jive platform as a whole and to consider all aspects of software design on a daily basis.

Based on a microservices architecture, Jive by LogMeIn’s engineering department is made up of small autonomous and independent teams operating in Agile mode.Responsibilities As a member of the development team, your responsibilities will include: You craft delightful user interfaces using web technologies You collaborate with your Product Owner, UX and software engineers to deliver high quality web and desktop applications Keep on top of emerging front-end development methods and technologies and actively share knowledge within our community of web developers You challenge the status quo and strive to get better with every iteration Ensure the quality of the delivered software.

Deploy and operate the solution in production.

Assist the team with evaluating the adoption of the latest and greatest technologies providing value to our developers and customers Write awesome code, eliminate hunger, and cure cancer (ok, maybe just two out of three, but writing good code is really hard) Qualifications Passion for well-crafted software.

Test-driven mindset .

Computer science (or related) bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, including ES6, asynchronous programming, browser compatibility, and accessibility Solid understanding of the web technology stack Agile methods, clean code, test driven development, continuous delivery is the base of your software engineering philosophy Experience with Angular 2+ and/or React Experience with Redux, RxJS Experience with TypeScript Experience with Jasmine testing framework Good communication skills 3+ years of engineering experience in the software industry Experience working in an agile environment with CI/CD process About Benefits and Perks Jive by LogMeIn takes pride in creating a fun work environment and providing generous benefits to its employees.
