YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAMAs an expert of the production, and reporting to the line conductors, the support performs all the tasks related to the manufacture of our various products: Basically he is responsible for the feeding of raw materials in front of the machine and the unloading of the finished product, as well as product quality verification, taking of samples, operation of a forklift, and any other related duties.

He comes in support to the rest of the team during the products changing or in case of any breaks of the products on the line.THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOUAssisting the line conductors in their tasks; Performingself-check tests (unrolling rolls, measuring the length, bringing the sample to the line conductors); Transferring the finished product pallets from the oven to the storage area using a forklift; Respectingthe storage plan provided by the shipping leader; Supplying sufficient pallets and raw materials necessary for the proper functioning of the machines, such as covers, pallets, tapes, foils, cardboard cores, cardboard rolls for skids, and glue; Performinga basic visual inspection of the forklift at the beginning of each shift according to the established procedure; Maintaining a clean and safe workstation at all times; Helping the rest of the team when the machine is stopped (reinforcment break, product changing…); Proceedingto the validation and control of the bulk trucks unloading; Any other related duties requested by the supervisor; Ensure thefull respect of the safety rules on site.

Your Education:High school diploma (an asset).Your Knowledge and CompetenciesExperience in a manufacturing plant (an asset); Forklift operating experience (requested).Your Skills and Abilities:Commitment; Diligence;Team spirit; Reliability and flexibility; Self-sufficiency; Communication; Well organized, fast-paced work, many different tasks managing; Forklift driving licence; Managementof the priority.Your Working Conditions:Work 8 hours with alternate shifts (Morning / Night / Afternoon); Must be available for all shifts; Must wear earplugs; Must wear safety glasses and boots at all times; Frequent changes in temperature depending on the movements inside the plant.Physical Requirements:Occasional handling of heavy loads (40 kg); Good physical and mental health.
