This is a 12 month contract located British Columbia Requirements:
– Based out of Vancouver, with no expectation of travel
– Candidate should have experience with Break/Fix & IMAC initiatives
– Candidate should display a high level of competency for time management and ticket handling
– Experience with inventory management, incident response, and reporting
– Candidate should be able to work independently, as well as part of a team
– Experience with IT support in an Airport environment or Transportation industry an asset Job Description:
– Perform corrective maintenance and respond to service requests
– Troubleshoot and triage incidents in the field including workstations, peripherals, networking equipment and cabling
– Investigate and resolve application related incidents
– Reset or replace equipment (including: computers, displays, keyboards, printers, hand-held scanners, and other peripheral devices)
– Clear printer jams and reload paper / ribbons / toner if required
– Handle break/fix, configuration issues, troubleshooting, software installations, hardware repair
– Provide general IMAC services for client’s assets
– Provide asset management services as it relates to IMAC activities Expectations:
– Candidate is expected to be able to successfully pass a Background check for security clearance
– Candidate should be local to Vancouver
– Schedule is based on shift work, supporting the client 24/7/365 (including all Stat Holidays)
– Successful Candidate will be scheduled with a 4 days on (10hr shift) / 3 days off rotation
