Systems Support Specialist

Experience supporting Windows and Mac is critical in this role, as well as basic experience in Linux and networking.ResponsibilitiesYour knowledge and experience will enable you to: Handle first line support for our staff across Canada and the USA.

Image & deploy Macbook Pro and Dell laptops.

Account management in Active Directory.

End user management on a cloud based telephony system.

Management of our Monitoring Point hardware labs.

Oversee usage of our VMware & KVM hypervisors.

User management on a large number of SaaS services such as Google Workspaces, Office 365, Atlassian Jira, Asana, Zoom, Slack, etc.

Track hardware and software asset assignments.

Take ownership of projects on an as needed basis.QualificationsTo excel in this position you’ll need: Experience with: Desktop support with Windows 10, MacOS and Linux (Ubuntu / Debian) Client device imaging, deployment & management, ideally with VMware WorkspaceONE.

Installation and management of Sophos Endpoint Protection, Google Workspaces, MS Office 365, Druva, VirtualBox, VMware Fusion, Slack.

Active Directory user management.

Basic networking including edge switch configuration, VLANs & WiFi.

Computer and network hardware troubleshooting & repair.

The ability to: Lift equipment up to 30lbs.

Occasional after-hours availability and response to emergency support as required.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
